Inspiration and Encouragement Creates a Child's Future

March 8, 2018

The women I would  like to recognize for International Women's Day 2018 are my teachers who opened the word of writing to me, and inspired me to embrace my Encore career - Mrs. Hammer (Kindergarten), Mrs. Harris (2nd grade), Mrs. Watson (3rd grade), Mrs. Brown (4th grade), Mrs. Gothe (5th grade), Mrs. Teeter/Mrs. Smith (6th grade), Mrs. Roscoe (English 7th grade), Mrs. Lind (British Literature/British Poetry 10th Grade), Ms. Till (American History and Advanced American History 11th grade), and the Queen of them All, and hardest teacher I have ever had, and appreciate eternally, Mrs. Betty Harwell aka Mrs. Shakespeare (Shakespeare, Research Paper, and my favorite subject, Semantics 12th grade)

Thank you ladies for being strong in your convictions to teach young minds! I am deeply grateful for your patience and encouragement to write...my apologies that it took me so long to set off on the path of Writer/Author/Documentary Filmmaker...I hope to do each of you proud.
